You don’t quite get it, if she views herself as a monster, how does she view me? Surely as something worse, because I am worse. I pushed her in this direction. I fostered this need in her. She feels like a monster because of me, not because I sired her, but everything after.
She’s a smart girl, and with distance, she will see it. She will see what I have made of her. I took an innocent girl and tried to make her in my image. I’m pretty certain that in literature, that would make me the monster of the story.
